My wife and i received our machine almost three weeks ago and we could not be happier. It works flawlessly, was easy to setup, and has successfully put a stop to our Starbucks trips. We finally figured out we could buy our beans and syrup from them and have figured that this machine will have paid for itself in less than a year. There is nothing like being able to get up in the morning and having an espresso just a few minutes later. We debated on whether or not we wanted a manual machine or a fully automatic like this one and we made the right choice.

The only downside (which you’ll notice did not impact our 5-star rating) is that we feel the automatic frothing unit is a bit cumbersome to clean. that could just be us though. I have purchased a stainless steal container that we use for doing that.

If you are at all on the fence about this I would highly encourage you to pull the trigger and get this machine in your kitchen. You will not be sorry.

This espresso maker makes excellent coffee in every way. It is reliable and simple to use. Yes, it is expensive. I love that one can adjust the settings that control the coffee flavor. And the “milk island” makes perfect milk foam every time and is very simple to use – perfect for cappuccino. Just find some excellent coffee beans that do justice to the quality of this machine…

With the Platinum Vision you can dose, and brew your espresso, all at the touch of a button. One of the most fun features of the machine is the programming function. Here is a quick preview into the personalization Gaggia offers: Touch Screen Features: Show text or use icons; Individual Beverage Settings for Espresso, Coffee, Long Coffee (Prebrew–set to off, med, strong.
